One video will be released each month beginning in January 2012. Banners will appear on the Pitt Business home page (and Katz home page if it includes graduate topics). In addition, each alumni e-newsletter in 2012 will feature a video. Katz will use Facebook posts, Tweets, and LinkedIn posts (by the Dean) to launch each video. The Dean will also e-mail the Board of Visitors to explain the videos, as well as the faculty and staff. The videos that include graduate topics will also be included in the MBA/MAcc student e-newsletters. A QR code will be added to the Pitt Business Spring magazine as well.

One of the most important events held each year by Pennsylvania One Call System, Inc. is its Safety Days. Throughout the year in various locations across the state, PA One Call holds instructional Safety Days for all stakeholders in an attempt to prevent underground damages. This program is an Internet-based mapping application available for use at no cost to every underground facility member. With programs likes these, Pennsylvania One Call offers all interested stakeholders the ability to prevent underground damages. On Motion Media created two videos to promote the use of Member Mapping. The first video is an overview of the benefits of using Member Mapping. The second video is a step-by-step demo. The people at Katz are great, which is always a good thing, but really the thing that makes the experience of working with Katz truly rewarding is that everyone there understands the power of video.

For 2011, On Motion Media went to the Katz students to capture in their own words what makes the Katz experience exceptional. This video production was shot at the University of Pittsburgh over a few months as events were taking place, so the experiences were still fresh in the students’ minds, and the excitement of the experiences were still close to the students. This enthusiasm is conveyed through the video interviews. Here is an example of one of the 2011 videos.

For the 2011-2012 school year the approach to documenting the Katz experience got even more expansive. For this entire school year, On Motion Media will be recording events, conferences, classes, internships, etc. and then turning the videos around immediately so that Katz can upload them onto their website and Facebook pages.
