On Motion Media and WHIRL Magazine teamed up for a photo shoot featuring Pittsburgh Penguins stars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. The photo shoot took place on December 1, 2014 for the cover of the January 2015 issue, featuring the dynamic duo. On Motion Media provided the behind-the-scenes video coverage. The production showcases Crosby and Malkin as they enter an auxiliary locker room within CONSOL Energy Center. The session with WHIRL begins shortly after the players put on their black and yellow alternate jerseys. The photo shoot was a historic one for both the Penguins organization and WHIRL Magazine, as Crosby and Malkin had never posed together for a magazine cover. The two players were only made available for 10 minutes, so WHIRL had to work fast to capture the stunning photos.
